We love our dogs, So they are very welcome on events marked as 'Dog Friendly'. In these cases dogs are entirely the responsibility of their owner. Owners must bring a lead and be ready to use it, eg. around livestock, wildlife, busy paths, cliff edegs or where advised by signage. Owners must also ensure their dog is socialised and does not endanger or disrupt other walkers.

A kit list is a really personal thing, and what you choose to carry will always change depending on the route, weather, conditions and time of year. A little rain never hurt anyone - but if weather conditions (our other unavoidable circumstances) would significantly increase the risk of the activity we may have to change plans. That will most likely mean a change to the route but could, in some circumstances, mean postponing or cancelling the event.
